Client Testimonials

To Whom It May Concern,

Stacy Padula began tutoring our daughter Kerri in July 2015 for the ACT exams. Stacy has a wonderful personality and is easily liked by adolescents of this age group. Kerri had previously worked with three other Sat tutors who were unable to improve her English SAT score. Stacey was always on time and easily able to get the most out of the sessions when she worked with Kerri. In addition to improving her English score from a 31 to a 34, she was also able to improve her Science score.

My daughter Kerri was in AP English in September and was solid at writing. I must say that the task of college essay writing is daunting for even a high achieving English student. Stacey was diligent and organized about guiding Kerri through the process. Stacey allowed Kerri’s authentic voice to shine through the essays while meticulously making sure all parameters were met. This included the Common Application essay along with supplemental essays for Boston College, Georgetown, Brown, Harvard and Tufts. All this was accomplished in the most time effective manner which entailed reusing parts of some essays to accommodate other ones. Kerri has been accepted at Boston College’s Carrol School Of Management’s Honors Program early action. Without Stacey’s help, it is doubtful Kerri would have been able to get the applications completed in a timely fashion, with her senior courses to deal with and a part time job. It is quite remarkable that Stacey is so well liked and respected at the end of such a rigorous process. I can only attribute this to her winning combination of reliability, organization and an unusually even temperament.

To parents of high school students:

1:  You want the best for your student.

2:  Your student is likely overwhelmed in his/her junior and senior years with AP courses, extra-curricular activities, keeping up with Netflix, and maintaining their snapchat pages.

3:  Standardize testing and college applications are nothing like what we went through 30+ years ago.

4:  Your student doesn’t take your advice anymore anyway.

So, hiring Stacy was one of the best decisions we made 2 years ago.  As other testimonials have said, she is engaging, and personable, so she interacts well with your student.  She is also knowledgeable about the SAT and ACT exams, but more importantly, she adds structure and insight into the college application process.  The amount of essays that many of these selective colleges request is overwhelming, and Stacy was able to keep our daughter on track, and make sure all applications were completed on time.

We were able to review the essays, and were very impressed with how they turned out.  Our daughter will be attending UCLA as an Honor’s student this fall.

So,  the next few years of your life will be exciting, but stressful.  For your student, the stress will likely be multiplied by 10.  Having Stacy help with keeping that stress as minimal as possible was well worth it.

To Whom It May Concern:

I would highly recommend Stacy and all of her services to anyone who asked me for a recommendation! Both of my older siblings worked with Stacy during their college processes, so naturally when it came time to start the process for myself, my mom contacted Stacy and I’m so glad she did! I used Stacy as an ACT tutor and she was a huge help; she taught me all of the necessary strategies that are so important for a test that is on such a tight time limit. Additionally, she became more of a friend to me than a tutor, which was extremely helpful because I was never nervous to reach out to her with any questions or concerns. It was so easy to send a quick text to Stacy when I needed to and she always responded promptly (even the night before the ACT when the midnight jitters arrived).

After I was done with the ACT I moved on to the college application process, and Stacy was there every step of the way. My mom and I sat down for one meeting with her to discuss what I was looking for in a college and she soon had a comprehensive list of over 20 schools for me to pick from and I ended up falling in love with many of them, which meant they were obviously great picks on her part. Stacy also had a completely original and creative process to help me write the main essay that I would be submitting to all of my colleges, and I think that it really set me apart from other applicants. When I got nervous about how different my essay was from other people’s, I called her on a Friday night to discuss it, but these types of encounters weren’t rare because she was always available to help me. I could always tell how much she truly cared about each of her students; this is more than just a job for her.

Once I was done with my main essay, I moved on to the supplements (I had over 20). Stacy helped me edit each and every one and would always send them back to me polished and ready to go, sounding perfect. Stacy helped me to make a beautifully formatted resume and a website, she helped me fill out the Common Application, reach out to admissions counselors and so many others things. Stacy was involved with every single step of my college process and left nothing to chance. She kept every deadline organized in her mind so that I was always more than prepared to submit things by the time they were due (and if I wasn’t she would stay up all night on the weekends making sure I was).

Stacy is extremely encouraging and always gives me the advice that I know I need because she has gotten to know me so well. Additionally, something that I found to be extremely important was that she never overestimated me and made promises to me about a certain school or a certain result but she also never underestimated me; she knew exactly what I was capable of and where I would end up. She knew every possible thing about the entire college process from top to bottom, could answer any question I had and knew exactly what to emphasize on my applications versus what I didn’t need to worry about. Stacy was also extremely reliable; she never missed a meeting in the year and a half that I worked with her, would get everything done that she had promised to do and would remember absolutely everything, which always blew my mind. Through the early admissions round, I have already been admitted to some of my top choice schools, including the University of Michigan, Boston College, Villanova University, and University of Richmond. I quite honestly can’t recommend Stacy enough and I am already planning to meet up with her for lunch soon!

To whom it may concern:

I cannot thank Stacy enough for her help throughout the college process. Stacy worked with me throughout the fall of my senior year, helping me construct a wonderful Common Application essay, which I struggled with on my own, as well as many supplements numerous schools. She is very good at getting to know students and ensuring that their most positive traits shine through the essays. Throughout the process, Stacy was extremely punctual, professional, flexible, organized, and efficient. Her love and passion for helping students is unmistakable. She is so genuine and a pleasure to work with! I was accepted to the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania early decision. I will forever appreciate Stacy’s help with my essay and supplements, for her informative advice on colleges, and for making the college process less stressful and scary!

To whom it may concern:

First and foremost – we could not have done this without Stacy! We met Stacy at the beginning our daughter’s junior year. Both my husband and I went to university in Canada so we were unfamiliar with the US college process. Due to Stacy’s approach and knowledge, we were immediately at ease. She is focused, incredibly organized and helped us throughout the entire journey – from SAT and ACT test prep, to college essay writing, application submissions and even met with us after our daughter was accepted ED to Northwestern University to navigate questions about major/minors and course selection. I know she will continue to help us along the way if necessary.  Annie has multiple and diverse interests, which made the college selection process initially challenging. Stacy’s deep knowledge of schools, curriculums and extracurricular activities was immensely helpful. Stacy is articulate, intelligent, efficient and her kind, caring personality enabled her to build a deep partnership with Annie so that even in the most stressful of moments, lots of laughter was heard in their time working together.

We are so grateful for Stacy’s guidance, expertise and recommend Stacy with enthusiasm and without reservation.

To whom it may concern:

I highly recommend Stacy as a college tutor/counselor. Stacy has worked with our son, Michael since the summer before his junior year. Beyond being an incredible tutor, the relationship she established with Michael was amazing. Stacy was able to work closely with Michael to help him determine which schools would be the best fit for him. We were amazed by the knowledge that Stacy had about the different universities and how Michael would fit in based on his personality and academic ability. Stacy also brings a great understanding of how colleges and universities view local high schools and the students’ course load. Stacy’s experience proved to be incredibly valuable to us as parents given that Michael is our oldest and the college process has changed considerably since we both attended back in the 80s. The final list of schools they came up with was a perfect fit for Michael.

Stacy has a wonderful process that kept Michael, happy, engaged, and on a schedule. Michael was able to complete all of his applications in advance of the early application deadlines.

Michael is going to be attending his first-choice school, University of Notre Dame, in the fall. We cannot thank Stacy enough for all her help in this. We look forward to Stacy starting to work with our daughter who is a sophomore in high school.

To Whom It May Concern:

Our family has been working with Stacy for the last four years and it has been a fantastic experience. We first met Stacy when she was tutoring our oldest son for the SAT, ACT and SAT subject tests during his junior year at Xaverian Brothers High School. Stacy and our son connected immediately and worked extremely well together. In addition to helping make sure he understood the subject matter, Stacy was able to provide test-taking strategies to maximize his scores — when to guess, when to leave answers blank, etc. As a result of his work with Stacy, our son did very well on both the SAT, ACT and SAT subject tests and took each only once. He scored a 34 on the ACT.

After working with our son on test prep, Stacy worked with him over the summer between his junior and senior years to prepare his Common Application, including the essay, as well as the supplemental essays required by the schools to which he was applying. It was a great approach and our son was much more receptive to receiving feedback on his work from Stacy than he would have been from us. He started his senior year with the vast majority of his application work complete. His essay was great. His personality came through and it was clearly his work, but Stacy’s work in refining his drafts and helping polish the final draft was invaluable. He applied Early Decision to the University of Richmond and was accepted.

Stacy just finished working with our second son, who is currently in his senior year at Xaverian Brothers. Stacy and our second son also got along great. She also worked with him on SAT, ACT and SAT subject test prep. On his own initiative, he took the SATs multiple times and ultimately put together a super-scored 2250 and three 700+ subject tests. As she did with our oldest, Stacy also worked with our second son on his Common Application and essays over the summer and this fall. He was accepted early action into the Honors Program at Boston College Carroll School of Management and has applications pending at a number of competitive liberal arts schools in New England.

Stacy is a pleasure to work with. She connects very well with teenagers, is patient and able to keep them organized and on schedule. We have many friends who have attempted to navigate the process without someone like Stacy and the experiences are almost always stressful and sources of family tension. Our experience with both of our sons was exactly the opposite and about as stress-free as we can imagine the test preparation and college application process being.

Dear Stacy:

We would like to thank you for your supportive counseling of Sophia during her college search process.  Your mentoring and personal discussions have helped her reach goals that we have been praying for her since she arrived in our lives.

As a parent, it was joyful to watch Sophia embark on new challenges and find success.  That also made us keenly aware it was not so much about us trying to teach her everything, but more about finding her the right supportive teachers, coaches, and mentors that would support and challenge her and open up new possibilities in her life.

We want you to know that your involvement with Sophia is one that we truly treasure.  Our appreciation of your mentoring through her high school years and collaboration to choosing her college has been immeasurable.  We regularly heard Sophia share examples of you about faith, family, work ethic, internal drive, professional success, and how you exemplified those traits and values within your own life, those all contribute to to the wonderful mentor you have been to her.

As her parents, we have been able to watch her grow and mature into a wonderful young lady, and we feel so fortunate to have found you to join us in the support of her success in life.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being who you are, and for sharing that with Sophia, and we look forward to watching her share her success in life with us together now.

To Whom It May Concern:

My family and I highly recommend Stacy Padula as a college counselor.  As first-time parents going through the college process, Stacy was a tremendous support to all of us.  We worked with Stacy exclusively remote, however our experience was totally seamless.

Stacy was available to help guide us as a family, and always understood and could articulate all of the nuances to the process.  Her in-depth knowledge of each school as well as the latest details around the process were strong, and she approached our process with a clear strategy in mind.

Stacy did an amazing job of helping our daughter hone in on what she really wanted from her college experience.  From there, she was able to help us build our school list and map out a Spring break school visit tour, advising us the entire time.  Many frantic questions were sent and always answered quickly and in a friendly way, never with frustration.  Stacy possesses a calm and cool presence, which is a real comfort and exactly what students and parents need during this process.  My daughter, loved working with Stacy and would look forward to her weekly calls with her.  She trusted Stacy implicitly and felt secure in knowing that she had her support on an ongoing basis.

Stacy is wonderfully positive, though she still takes a very realistic approach to her work, which is appreciated.  We always knew where things stood and felt secure knowing that Stacy had us on a great track.  It was a comfort to know that in Stacy’s hands, my daughter was putting forth the best possible essays and content, that she was meeting deadlines and feeling as inspired and as positive as she could be during the process.

My family and I will always be thankful for Stacy.  She has become more than a college counselor, but she is a friend to all of us. I look forward to working with Stacy again in 3 years, when the time comes for our second daughter to go through the college process.

Sincerely,
Julie Ronning – New York, New York

Dear Stacy,

I had first called you in the summer of 2018 because Samantha needed an SAT tutor.  I knew just by your kindness and reassurance that this was going to be a great match.  In a short amount of time you were able to work with Sam to prepare her for what can be an extremely overwhelming exam.  I believe she took the SAT several times and was able to get a super score that pleased everyone.  Once the SAT was behind us, we were able to take a deep breath before we entered the world of the college application process.

The application process of today is completely different from when I was applying 30 years ago.  It is overwhelming, confusing, and somewhat terrifying.  Stacy, your organizational skills and your knowledge about all the schools that we were applying to just blew me away.  Every week you had a plan for what application you would tackle with Sam within our designated hour.  I would never have known that some schools require additional essays or have their own application.  It just amazed me how you kept Sam on track, which is something I was not ever able to do in her 18 years!

When you and Sam had submitted your last application together, I must admit I was sad.  I really looked forward to our weekly sessions.  I loved catching up on what was happening in our lives.  Throughout our times together you had become a good friend to both Samantha and me.  I think what made me feel better is knowing that my son, Jake would be seeing you in a few short years.

Stacy, there are no words to express my sincerest thanks for all you have done for Samantha and myself.  There is no way I could have navigated the SAT/college application process alone. If I did not have you as a tutor, guide, cheerleader, and friend, I never would have made it through.

Sincerely,

Emily R. Waxman – North Easton, MA

To Whom It May Concern:

My daughter, Joanna worked with Stacy for about 18 months, beginning in the summer before her Junior year in high school. We had previously worked with someone else for our son who is already in college. From the beginning we knew that Stacy would be different. She consulted with us, formulating a plan that worked for my daughter and we felt comfortable with. My daughter instantly felt at ease with Stacy, making their sessions very productive.

Stacy helped Joanna prepare for all phases of her college application process, including standardized test preparation, choosing an appropriate class load, creating a college list, corresponding with admission representatives, college essays and filling out the Common Application. Stacy’s energetic personality kept Joanna motivated and made her feel confident about her college plan. Both her test scores and her grades in school increased exponentially, which I also believe was a result of Stacy’s enthusiasm and goal focused methods. Her flexibility made working with my daughter easy and kept her on track even when she felt overwhelmed. My daughter was accepted to her top 3 schools, all of which were in the “reach” category.  I couldn’t be happier with Stacy’s dedication to helping my daughter succeed and be admitted early to her top choice school, Providence College. I would highly recommend her to anyone trying to navigate the competitive college admissions process.

To whom it may concern:
I cannot think of anyone better suited to be a college counselor. I have had the privilege of working with Stacy Padula twice over the past 5 years in which she helped me with college and graduate essays. Stacy is extremely dedicated to her work and ensures that the writing process is as easy as possible, since it often seems overwhelming. This was a life saver for me! It helped to reduce the stress surrounding the somewhat endless essays that come with applications. On top of that, Stacy is extremely personable and a strong advocate for getting to know the individual she is working with. She is punctual, organized, flexible, resourceful, and kind. With all her hard work and help, I was able to get into both of my dream schools for my undergraduate and graduate degrees! I attended Elon University and am now headed to MGH Institute of Health Professions for nursing school. No words can express how grateful I am for all her help and would recommend her to anyone who needs a college counselor.

To Whom It May Concern:

I started working with Stacy in my junior year of highschool for SAT and ACT preparation. My final SAT score was almost 200 points higher than the PSAT score I received in junior year. I worked with Stacy on both the math and english portions of the SAT and scored a 750 on each section. I began to work with Stacy for college advising in October of my senior year and created a list of schools to apply to. Stacy helped me to decide on colleges that would be a good fit for my personal and academic aspirations and guided me through Early Action, Regular Decision and Early Decision choices. After hearing back from my Early Action schools I have been accepted to very competitive reaches and schools that fell into target and safety categories. With Stacy’s help I made educated decisions on when and where I should apply to the schools I aspired to go to and what major was most fitting with my intended career path. So far I have not been rejected from a school and believe that this is due to the strategy she told me to apply using. As well as advising me on where and when to apply, Stacy helped me choose essay ideas, edit supplements and manipulate my writing to fit the criteria that college’s judge applicants on. My sister, a sophomore in high school, will also begin to use Stacy’s services because of the results she helped me to receive.

To Whom It May Concern:

We hired Stacy as a college prep tutor for several reasons.  The college preparation process is completely overwhelming to say the least. We really had no idea where to begin. Stacy was recommended to us from a friend, and we called her having little idea what would be needed over the course of almost two years prior to the college application process. From the very beginning she put us at ease as to how to begin, and what we would be facing over the many months to follow.

We began with SAT/ACT preparation and tutoring. Stacy was amazing at preparing my son for the tests, and highlighting shortcuts and test taking strategies. This wasn’t a one shot deal. After each test they worked together to improve test-taking skills and raise the scores on subsequent tests.

Once the tests were behind us the real work began. Stacy put together a comprehensive report of target, reach and safety schools for us to focus on. When that was complete we were able to fine tune applications and essays for the schools my son wanted to apply to. Navigating the application and essay process is not an easy task, but having Stacy to keep us on track was priceless. Her essay organizational and editing skills are amazing and she was able to fine-tune my son’s essay to perfection.

I would highly recommend Stacy for any family beginning the college search process. My son was accepted to his number one choice of colleges, Babson College, and he couldn’t be happier. I owe a great deal of thanks to Stacy for helping him achieve his goals!!

To Whom It May Concern,

My children Abby and Eamon have recently got accepted to not only the college of their choice, but the college of their dreams. I could not be more proud of their achievements, but realize that this outcome would not have been possible without the help and guidance of Stacy Padula.  Having two children applying to colleges at the same time was overwhelming, but Stacy made the whole college search and process a positive experience for them both. There is a lot of stress and pressure that is involved in applying to school and Stacy helped ease that for them. She started working with them in the fall of their junior year. She was able to help my daughter raise her overall ACT score 6 points, and my son’s overall SAT scores by 200 points. This helped them to apply to schools that were not originally a possibility for them. She helped them make a realistic lists of schools, and spent the time with them to really figure out which schools would be a good fit for them. She helped them write amazing and meaningful essays that really spoke to who they are as individuals. Words cannot express how grateful we are for everything she has done to help them attain their goals. My daughter Abby will be attending Bowdoin College, and my son Eamon will be attending Providence College in the fall.

To whom it may concern:

Senior year for my daughter, Marlena, was the most overwhelming year for her. My daughter was a top student; however, the demands of the college process while trying to keep up with her Advanced placement courses were crushing her confidence. Never had I seen her so emotionally stressed as she attempted to conquer the challenging task of applying to the colleges of her choice.

I attended the school’s College Information night, but that honestly overwhelmed me. I could see why she was so stressed with the many items on the checklist to complete the application process and all the deadlines to meet for both early and regular decisions. That’s when I realized the best help I could give my daughter was to reach out for someone to assist her — she worked so hard to get where she was and she deserved to go through the process with someone who knew exactly what they were doing. You see, I am a high school teacher, and I saw firsthand that the stress of applying to college was not unusual at all. There are so many decisions to make, choices to narrow, essays to write, forms to fill out, and of course all awhile keeping up with the senior year curriculum. It is an extremely emotional and unsettling time in a teenager’s life as they are doing all this while trying to enjoy and engage in their final year of high school. As much as I thought I could help her, I realized I was just adding to her anxiety. This is when I contacted Stacy Padula to help out — and it was the best decision that I made.

My daughter’s first meeting with Stacy immediately relieved her of much apprehension. Stacy helped our daughter tackle her college essay (which she had previous attempted, but it was as though she couldn’t form the words to express herself in a distinctive way and she felt as though her life depended on it — creating again, more anxiety!). Stacy helped her to form the exact words to express herself in such a unique way. It was our daughter’s writing, her personality, her story and it was perfect! Simultaneously, Stacy had her working on her Common Application and her final SAT exam preparations. The expertise that Stacy offered immediately calmed our daughter to get back on track and checking off the details that needed to get done. I was amazed at how much Stacy accomplished in such a short time. She helped our daughter confidently work out her decisions, regain her self-confidence, and get all the necessary details complete to finalize the process.

Our daughter got accepted to each college that she applied to and she was offered sizable merit scholarships at most. Boston College, Fairfield College, Quinnipiac College, Stonehill College, Sacred Heart College, University of Vermont, UMass Amherst, and Providence College each offered her enrollment. Our daughter proudly selected Providence College which offered her the Honors Program and the St. Joseph’s Merit Scholarship which awarded her 40 percent tuition cost each year.

As parents, my husband and I will forever be indebted to Stacy Padula for her guidance, help, and knowledge. She is truly an expert in her field. She understands her client’s fears, doubts, and worries, and turns them into confident and manageable accomplishments. She takes your child’s dreams and helps them turn into reality. She takes the insurmountable and turns it into manageable. . … There is no better gift that I could’ve given my child.

I write this as a testimonial of what Stacy has given to us. She gave us peace at an overwhelmingly stressful, yet exciting time in our lives. I give Stacy my highest recommendation without any reservation. Those whom employ Stacy’s expertise and services will not be disappointed — I say this with the utmost confidence!

Sincerely,
Marcia Forrester – Quincy, MA

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Kole Wosneski, and I am a high school senior who just completed his college search process. If you are a student looking for assistance or a parent trying to help your child, hire Stacy Padula. It’s hard to put into words how much stress she alleviated from the past few months of my life. To begin, I was late to start my whole college selection process compared to others. After a long vacation out of the country in the summer, I returned home only to have school start with zero progress completed on my college search. Seeing my peers well ahead of me, the stress began to build. The entire process was rather overwhelming. At this point my family hired Stacy for assistance. After our first meeting I already felt like I had a grip on things. She helped me figure out what not only what I wanted to pursue but also what environment would be best for me. As a result, I was given a list of college suggestions and began to visit as many as I could right away. Once I finally narrowed my list down, Stacy guided me through all of my applications, helping me with any questions and concerns I had. She saved so much of my time by helping me re-use sections of supplement essays for other similar prompts. After a couple months of hard work and Stacy’s assistance, I am proud to say I have been accepted into my first choice, Bucknell University. Could not have done it without Stacy, I definitely recommend her.

Sincerely,
Kole Wosneski – Cohasset, MA

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Stacy was with the college essay writing process. She worked with all three of my children and helped them to conceptualize, edit and refine their essays. She was extremely patient and made the whole experience as relaxing as possible for my stressed out teenagers. Stacy had the ability to help my children discover their voices and create personal and very meaningful essays. All of my children got into their top choices for schools. As a parent I appreciated the fact that Stacy was super organized, open to input from me and very accommodating when we needed to schedule extra days to work. Stacy recently helped my oldest daughter, who is in college with her business school application essays. They worked remotely and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Stacy is a pleasure to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again.

Jodie Kaplan – Needham, MA

My daughter and I met Stacy Padula several years ago through a mutual friend. I had been homeschooling my daughter since kindergarten, and she was just then entering high school. I wanted to continue homeschooling her, but I felt she needed an objective and experienced instructor in advanced essay writing. My daughter worked with Stacy throughout high school on essay writing, SAT preparation, and college applications. She scored highly in all areas of the SAT with an almost perfect score in the Writing portion. Consequently, she was accepted into her first choice college with a full tuition scholarship. She is currently a second semester college sophomore with a 4.0 GPA. She has received an A in every paper she has written in college thus far and has even received a request from a professor asking permission to print her paper in the syllabus as an example of how to write a particular assignment. We are extremely grateful for the obvious value that Stacy has added to our daughter’s education and would not only recommend her but would encourage anyone’s decision in utilizing her services.

To Whom It May Concern,

It is with great pleasure that I am writing this letter of recommendation for Stacy Padula. Stacy has been our son Matthew’s tutor for many years. Matthew first started with Stacy his junior year of High school. Helping Matthew get the grades so he could enter a college of his choice. She guided Matthew through the difficult process of his college essay and college applications. Stacy has firsthand knowledge of what school could be a good fit knowing how Matthew learns. Stacy just doesn’t tutor the student she looks at the entire picture of the person and works with them to be the best version of themselves. To me that truly is a gift. Stacy’s tutoring style makes each student feel empowered, important and knowledgeable in what she is teaching. She is a warm, bright and caring person. Stacy gives the students the tools to succeed. Now that Matt is in college he still meets with Stacy to tutor him in several subjects. Through her encouragement and tutoring style Matt is having a very successful semester. We couldn’t be happier with Stacy Padula. If you are lucky enough to have her as a tutor you will indeed have a friend for life!

Julie Sheehan – North Attleboro, MA

My name is Lexi Richards and I am a senior at Quincy High School. This year I was lucky enough to work with Stacy Padula on my college application process. Stacy was amazing to work with. She helped me complete the college application and essays, reviewed and provided great feedback, and was always available to answer questions. With Stacy’s help, I was accepted into all my schools and I received merit scholarships that I was not expecting. She is incredibly talented and knew exactly what to include on the application. I have known Stacy for approximately six months and can honestly say that she has become one of the most important and helpful people in my life. Therefore it is with great pleasure that I recommend Stacy to anyone seeking qualified and professional academic consulting services. Not only is Stacy talented, but she is an amazing person as well. She is smart, honest, and kind. You will benefit from working with her.

Respectfully,
Lexi Richards – Quincy, MA

To Whom It May Concern:

Stacy is very insightful and is very good at what she does. She helps the student with understanding how the test operates and how to score higher. She has a warm and engaging personality and truly cares about the student. She is able to calm and relax the student so that he or she can focus on achieving the best score possible.

To Whom It May Concern:

Stacy and my son connected from their first tutoring session. They worked together every week to prepare for the SAT and ACT tests. She is knowledgeable with the material for both of these tests. My son felt confidant going to take these tests and his high scores reflected this. Stacy continued coming to our home to work with my son on his college essays. They worked on them all summer and set a manageable time line for their completion. I was so comfortable in her ability to guide him in this process that I did not read the essays until we were submitting his college applications. The essays were a true reflection on my son and I was pleased with all of them. Stacy worked with us adjusting the days and times of my sons sessions as his sports seasons changed. She made the entire college application process a smooth one. We look forward to working with her in the future with my other children.

To whom it may concern:

Stacy Padula helped me write my essay for my application to Graduate School at Boston College.  I completed my undergrad at BC in 2013 in Elementary Education and Math-Computer Science.  I dreamed of returning for my Masters from the moment I left.  Now having taught for four years, it was time for my to apply for their Educational Leadership program.  I knew I wanted my essay to showcase all that I could offer to BC so I called Stacy.  Stacy was an enormous help to my sister when she was applying to undergrad so I knew she would be the best of the best to help me with my application.

When I met with Stacy, I knew she was prepared to help me truly write the best essay for me.  We spent hours looking over the program at BC, examining my own personality, and compiling a plan of action for my essay.  Stacy worked with me to create an organized plan for how I would write my essay.  She broke the essay into sections for me to write.  One of Stacy’s true talents is to take the learner in front of her, and to tailor the task to them.  Stacy took the overwhelming task of writing the “perfect” personal narrative into a completely manageable task that I was well prepared and well thought out for from the work we did together at our sessions.

After I wrote the essay, Stacy edited.  Stacy is a master at this.  This is where her talents as an author meet her equally as talented tutoring skills.  After I read over Stacy’s transformation of my essay, I called her and said, “it is everything I could have hoped it would be!” And I could not have been more honest.  She took all of the writing I had compiled and turned it into a skillfully written and well-reflected essay that accurately said what I wanted with such craft.  I honestly would not have been able to have done this half as well on my own.

I am so lucky to have been able to work with Stacy on my grad school application.  Later that winter, I was accepted to BC and I was offered a Dean’s Merit Scholarship.  I know I worked hard for this next step, but I truly attribute Stacy’s talents for allowing me to showcase all that I have accomplished.  Stacy is dedicated, supportive, and truly has a talent for working one on one with a student.

To Whom It May Concern:

From my own personal student experience with Stacy, 5 stars is an understatement. She goes above and beyond for every student. She has such a kind heart. She’s willing to not only help with the book work, but to help the student throughout the struggles and the reality of high school and college. She made everything an enjoyable experience. I didn’t mind doing the homework and studying with Stacy because she takes the time to make sure you understand what you’re learning – and that’s coming from a kid who hated doing homework! I would recommend Stacy to any one of my friends or family.  She’s one of a kind and I couldn’t have asked for someone to help me through my own life and learning curves. It was a long road, but I knew she was there for help anytime I needed. I have emailed her papers late at night just to proofread, and she would always get back to me. No matter the time. She is an amazing person and someone who today I am grateful and happy to call my friend!

To Whom It May Concern,

Stacy Padula is a life saver! She worked with each of my two daughters as they prepared essays for college applications. My older daughter disliked writing and never developed terrific writing skills even though she was a bright student. Over the course of one summer working with Stacy she became an accomplished writer. She even became the “go to” person for her friends and fellow students because she was able to bring out the best in others’ writing after her experience with Stacy. It was amazing! Stacy’s patience and guidance was a sight to see. She knows how to sit quietly back and allow the student to find the words and then helps them to improve it from there. In contrast, my younger daughter was a prolific writer and needed different guidance. Stacy helped her to tighten up her writing and find her genuine voice. Again, Stacy showed incredible patience, letting the student evolve rather than directly instructing her. In addition to Stacy’s skills as a tutor she is a lovely person and a pleasure to be around. We got to know her very well as she was with our children and it was always a joy to see her.
