Stacy Padula O’Halloran, Author, Educator, Counselor, Founder & President of South Shore College Consulting & Tutoring was just recently selected as Top Educational Consultant of the Year for 2019 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the industry.
While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities. With close to 2 decades of professional experience in tutoring, counseling, mentoring and consulting adolescents and youth groups, Stacy has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in many fields. As a dynamic, results-driven leader, Stacy has demonstrated success not only as Founder & President of South Shore College Consulting & Tutoring, but also as a successful published writer who is the author of the Montgomery Lake High Book Series and the Gripped Book Series, which address teenage substance abuse and other prevalent social issues.
Her impressive repertoire of prior roles have included: Interior Designer of TRO, Project Manager of Professional Interiors, and Director of Operations for JBG Educational Group. South Shore College Consulting & Tutoring specializes in college counseling, college admissions essays, SAT prep, ACT prep and academic coaching.
Originally studying to be an Architect & Interior Designer, Stacy felt something was missing. She was a Presidential Scholar and on the Dean’s List at Wentworth and she wanted to utilize her interpersonal, writing and math skills. She wanted to help people grow more spiritually and academically and she began tutoring part-time. She decided to leave the Architecture and Design industry and took a full-time position with a company in the metro-west which she stayed with for 8 years, quickly climbing the ranks. In 2016, Stacy left the metro-west and began the South Shore College Consulting & Tutoring.
Stacy earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design in addition to studying Architectural Engineering for two years at Wentworth Institute of Technology. She is currently enrolled in online coursework at University of Pennsylvania to pursue her passion for entrepreneurship. The President of IAOTP, Stephanie Cirami, stated “Choosing Stacy for this award was an easy decision for our panel to make. She is brilliant at what she does and contributed so much of her wisdom and passion to help empower today’s youth all over the globe. She is humble, gracious and we felt she would make an amazing asset to our organization. Throughout her illustrious career Stacy has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. For 2019 she is being considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professional) Magazine and was selected as Top Educational Consultant of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).
